CORPORATE SITE FOR A NEARSHORE BPO ENGLISH AND GERMAN

Every answer, before the first call.

Oratio runs customer service for the German-speaking market out of Sarajevo and Tuzla. Buyers looking for such a partner mostly ask the same things, in the same order. Which industries do you cover, who are the people doing the support, where do they sit, what does switching cost and when can you start. We built one page that answers all of those questions, in English and in German. It is built with Astro and hosted on Cloudflare, so it loads fast even with a 3D globe on it.

01THE PAGE

From services to Willkommen bei Oratio.

A buyer wants to check everything before getting in touch. So the page first shows what Oratio does and for which industries, then the founders and the team, explains why customer support from Bosnia and Herzegovina makes sense and what the 21-day onboarding looks like. Client testimonials and an FAQ come last. The site exists in English and German, so one of the bands is the German home screen with Willkommen bei Oratio on it. Each band is a slice of one capture of the full page and opens full size on click.

02SPEED

A long page that does not feel long.

Eleven thousand pixels of content, a wall of a hundred portraits and a WebGL globe usually mean speed is the thing you give up. Not here. Astro ships HTML, images go out as WebP and load only when they are needed, the globe starts once it enters the viewport, and Cloudflare serves the page from the edge. These are the scores Google measures from its side, not ones we measured from ours.1

SEO

  • 0 to 49 Poor
  • 50 to 89 Needs improvement
  • 90 to 100 Good

The one score that is not 100 is mobile performance, and the WebGL globe is what costs those two points. Cumulative layout shift is zero on both devices, which on a page carrying this many images means every one of them holds its place before it arrives.
